Yes. There are. Known variations of the disease include psoriatic arthritis (a combination of psoriasis and arthritis), ankylosing spondylitis and Reiter’s syndrome.

In rare cases, rheumatoid arthritis symptoms that are severe can lead to nodule formation in the sclera. If not checked, this leads to inflammation and destruction of the globe of the eyes and eventuality blindness.
